Indoor pool is nice, perfect for kids. Room was smaller than expected and the bathroom could use better ventilation. Definitely check for beach chair access; it's right across the street. Check-in was a bit slow, and the cleaning staff could improve their attention to detail.

Just a few steps away from the beach access, this hotel offers easy strolls to the warm sands and the beautiful promenade, which is perfect for leisurely walks along the coast or quick trips to some tasty dining options like Hemingway's restaurant and Union Park just a short walk away, while attractions like Washington Street Gallery and Congress Hall are all under a 15-minute walk from the front door making it super convenient for exploration. The room was comfortable with a small kitchen and a cozy atmosphere, but the bathroom lighting and air conditioning could use some improvement.

Breakfast was a disappointment. They couldn't guarantee nut-free options for my daughter. the Hemingway Restaurant staff were exceptional-kind and attentive. The food was delicious, and the portions generous. Anca stood out for making our experience enjoyable. The hotel itself felt mediocre at best. Rooms didn't match the online photos. The indoor pool and spa were unsatisfactory; cleanliness was lacking. There were issues with the key card and no housekeeping during our stay. Our room was super cute and had a nice kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. Great view of the ocean from our comfy sitting area! The heated saltwater pool was awesome. Staff was really helpful. Loved the nearby beach. The fitness and spa facilities were great, but the hot tub could use better jets.

Kids had a blast at the pool and the beach! The staff at the beach was amazing, bringing us drinks and food right in our chairs.

The ocean view was stunning, allowing us to see beautiful sunrises. Noise levels were surprisingly low; we never heard neighbors. housekeeping overlooked some cleaning details, like hair on the bedding. While the shared balcony was a nice touch, privacy was limited. It was frustrating finding clean towels at the pool, and some amenities appeared outdated. it was a comfortable stay with a few areas needing attention.

Spent a lovely Christmas stay by the beach with a fantastic balcony view of the ocean. The room had a microwave and small fridge, super comfy bed, and a great sofa. Enjoyed the convenience of having a restaurant on-site. Location was perfect for easy beach access and plenty of parking available.

The air conditioning unit was a bit too loud and needed an upgrade. Some maintenance issues like bathtub caulk and water heater rust.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on my recent stay at the Grand. The heating and air conditioning in the room were a bit of a letdown for me. The AC didn't get as cold as I would have liked, and the heating seemed a bit outdated with a window unit. It made the room a bit uncomfortable at times. On the bright side, I really enjoyed the tea and coffee facilities in the room. It was a nice touch to have those available, especially in the morning. The sitting area was cozy, but the room felt a bit tight overall. And speaking of the room, the electrical problem with the lights flickering when using the Keurig was a bit annoying. The patio area was a nice idea, but it felt more like a hot room with no proper ventilation, making it uncomfortable to spend time there. The view from our room wasn't great either, with construction noise waking us up early in the morning, which was a surprise. Housekeeping did a decent job, but the property could have been cleaned more effectively. The staff, especially Debbie, was customer service-oriented and helped resolve some issues which I appreciated. The Grand has its pros and cons. While there were some areas that needed improvement like room amenities and cleanliness, the location was great, and the pool service was excellent. Just a heads up for anyone considering a stay - be prepared for some quirks and make sure to clarify any expectations beforehand.

we had a fantastic stay at grand hotel. everything was clean and modern, and the lovely scent throughout the hall was a pleasant surprise. the room was well-appointed, and we especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony. the location right off the beach was perfect, and we appreciated the peace and quiet during the off-season. the indoor pool was a great escape from the sun, and we had a wonderful dining experience at the hotel restaurant.

Great beachfront location! The hotel was stunning with friendly and professional front desk staff. The rooms were clean, and the on-site dining experience at Hemingway's was outstanding.

Parking can be a hassle, especially when the hotel is full. The left side parking lot tends to flood, making it a bit messy to walk through.

We had a fantastic time at a beachside hotel. The spacious rooms were perfect for bigger groups, with separate living and sleeping areas. The hotel had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds. The indoor and outdoor pools, game room, and sun deck provided endless entertainment. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the location was convenient for exploring Cape May. Plus, the ocean view from our balcony was stunning. Definitely recommend for a fun beach season visit with friends!

The HVAC system was a bit problematic, with the temperature stuck on high and unable to be adjusted. We had to keep the balcony door and window open constantly to cool the room down.
